Dr. Virgil Crisafulli, author, signs copies of his book Reflections: The Early Years of Utica College. The late Virgil Crisafulli, a member of the College's original faculty in 1946, recalls UC's modest beginnings on Oneida Square, when the College was established as a branch campus of Syracuse University, dedicated to meeting the needs of returning World War II veterans.
