Calabrese to Speak About Building A Business Back Home

Utica, NY (11/11/2015)- As a part of Utica College’s Executive Lecture Series, John Calabrese, owner and president of Express Employment Professionals, will speak on “Corporate America to Coming Home: The Value and Power of a Franchise Business.” After working 15 years in a corporate environment, Calabrese will discuss his experiences working for a Fortune 100 company as well as the benefits of investing in the franchise model of business.
The lecture will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 18 and is free and open to the public; it will begin at 7 p.m. in Carbone Family Auditorium in the Economic Crime, Justice Studies and Cybersecurity Building at Utica College. At 8 p.m., the evening will conclude with a reception for faculty, staff and students.
Express Employment Professionals is a full-service staffing firm headquartered in the recently revitalized Landmarc Building in the heart of Downtown Utica.
An alumnus of Utica College, Calabrese launched Express Employment Professionals in 2013 after spending nearly 15 years with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Calabrese spent time in various roles both at Pfizer’s headquarters in New York and worked internationally to develop operations in China, India, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Calabrese takes great pride in the Mohawk Valley and is involved in numerous professional and community organizations. He serves on the board of directors for First Source Federal Credit Union and the Central Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired Foundation Board.
The Executive Lecture Series is sponsored by the Business and Economics Department of Utica College.
