Executive Lecture Series to Feature Andrew Guzzetti

What is needed to build a business? Alum to share insights
Utica, NY (04/18/2013)- Successful businessman Andrew Guzzetti will speak at Utica College’s Executive Lecture Series on Tuesday, April 23, at 7 p.m. in the Economic Crime, Justice Studies and Cybersecurity building’s Carbone Family Auditorium.
Guzzetti’s speech, “Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Investment … What I Wish Someone Told Me Before College Graduation,” will provide insight into the difficult but rewarding road of the entrepreneur, from start up to financing. He will also discuss leadership qualities needed to build a business.
The program is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Business and Economics Department of Utica College.
Currently the managing director at DLG Wealth Management, LLC, Clifton Park, he is responsible for building and overseeing the private client group. Instrumental in training new consultants and managers, he served as an adjunct at Temple University and taught entrepreneurship courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Guzzetti graduated from UC in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
Guzzetti also carries a presence in local sports. A native Utican, he was a football and baseball coach at both high school and college levels. His 13-year coaching experience includes being head football coach for Proctor High School, and an assistant football coach and head baseball coach for Hamilton College.
