Platt Chat with Alumnus Larry Platt ’85

Author, newspaper and magazine editor, and media executive, is a contributing columnist for The Philadelphia Inquirer, and the former editor of the Philadelphia Daily News and Philadelphia magazine. He is the author of four books including Only the Strong Survive: The Odyssey of Allen Iverson. Platt’s fall release, Just Tell Me I Can’t: How Jamie Moyer Defied the Radar Gun and Defeated Time is a book written with the former MLB All-Star pitcher, focusing on Moyer’s late-blossoming baseball career. All are invited to discuss Platt’s career, his latest book and the state of journalism in an ever-changing digital world.

Our 60th Anniversary Reunion Class, 1953, is also being acknowledged along with the Class of 1958 for their 55th. Spouses and significant others are welcome.
