Catch the alumni game, and stick around for the 2012 Men’s Lacrosse Awards Ceremony and Alumni Reception afterwards – one of UC's most popular and longest running Homecoming traditions.

Utica College Theatre and the Players of Utica Present: Fighting and Dancing with Shakespeare

Nine scenes from Shakespeare's more popular comedies and tragedies. This shared production, directed by Ron Medici, will showcase our students as well as greater Utica’s community theatre for an evening including music, sword fighting, and even some dancing. Halloween arrives early with an interactive haunted house (one version for adults/ one for children) uniquely designed for students, families and alumni of all ages. Voted scariest haunted house in the Midwest, the three tractor trailers roll onto campus a few weeks early.

For 20 years their “hot brass, cool sounds” have made them one of the best musical groups in Central New York, having shared the bill with Earth, Wind & Fire, Eddie Money among other well-knowns. Join Greeley Ford ’77, Caitlin Henry ’08 & G ’12, UC’s music instructor Michael DiMeo, and their bandmates as they get the party started.

The Alumni Chapter of Alpha Chi Rho will conduct a closed council meeting which will include a presentation on the history of the AXP Omicron Phi Chapter facilitated by Brother Jim Lohnas ‘67. Chapter paddles, composites, old photos, and fraternity relics (1966-2003) will be on display. Wear your letters, bring your old pictures, and re-live the bonds of Alpha Chi Rho. Small fee for continental breakfast.

Theta Xi alumni have returned to campus for almost 20 years to reminisce about the past and to be a part of the College’s present and future. The brothers will be updated on the status of the scholarship, they established several years ago, as well as details about the recipient. Small fee for continental breakfast.

The club includes all ages and levels of experience, from some just beginning to explore self expression with a camera to those who have won many local, state, and even national awards.

Regardless of whether the photographer uses film or digital, one thing remains constant; the camera does not make the image, the photographer does.

Hosted by President Todd S. and Mrs. Jennifer Hutton, Classes of 1949-1961 are invited to the induction celebration of the newest Golden Pioneers: The Class of 1962 as they celebrate their 50th Reunion Year. Our 60th Anniversary Reunion Class, 1952, is also being acknowledged along with the Class of 1957 for their 55th. Spouses and significant others are welcome. Lunch is complimentary for members of the Class of 1962.

Get ready for Pioneer football! Last year’s changes were a hit including moving to the tailgating area, where the masses meet. The menu is simple: all beef hot dogs (with all the fixings), veggie burgers, some sides, and beverages by our sponsor, The Matt Brewing Company.

Everyone is welcome to attend this party hosted by the National Alumni Council. Saranac 1888 root beer included, a buck a Saranac for those over 21 (Valid I.D. required).

The Utica Camera Club gallery exhibit will be available for viewing.
