COLLEGE HOLIDAYS

Utica College recognizes certain days during the year as paid holidays in order that employees may maintain a proper balance between work, family, and recreation.  In addition to the attached list of holidays, staff employees may enjoy two (2) Floating Holidays.

The Spring Recess Day and the two Floating Holidays should be arranged upon mutual agreement between each employee and his/her supervisor.  New employees hired after November 30th will be eligible for one (1) Floating Holiday.  In addition, new employees serving their 90-day orientation period are not eligible to use Floating Holidays during that time frame.

Please note that indicated holidays and bonus days in academic calendar years 2010-11, 2011-12, and 2012-13 are provided as examples of what is likely to be the College Holidays in that year; however, all holidays schedules are subject to change according to the needs of the College.
