Summer Financial Aid Application



2013 Summer Financial Aid Programs at Utica College



Limited financial aid is available for summer enrollment. Please be aware that any federal funds used for summer enrollment may decrease the amount of aid available for the following academic year. In order to be considered for financial aid a student must:
  • Be a degree seeking Utica College student
  • Be enrolled at least half-time
  • Be academically eligible
  • Submit a 2013-2014 FAFSA no later than April 1st, 2013 for summer aid
    • Returning students who are selected for Verification by the U.S. Department of Education will need to submit the required income documentation to the Office of Financial Aid before a financial aid package can be offered
    • New students who are selected for Verification will need to submit the required income documentation during summer enrollment before funds may be disbursed
  • Submit a summer financial aid application by the priority deadline of April 1st, 2013
    • Applications submitted after April 1st will be processed in order of receipt on a rolling basis, but will not be used for payment, payment will be required upon registration.
The summer loan will be taken from your 2013-2014 academic year, Federal Direct Stafford/Ford Loan award, pending satisfactory academic progress review of spring grades. To adhere to federal regulations, funds will not be disbursed until the refund period has expired for the last summer session since any change in enrollment may affect eligibility and could result in a return of federal financial aid.
