Wimer Alberto comes to UC as a new resident director. Alberto graduated with bachelor’s degrees in both English and sociology this past May from SUNY Binghamton. His past experiences include working as an orientation advisor, educational opportunity program summer peer counselor, resident assistant, and senior A/V technician. Alberto looks forward to incorporating his skills and experience into the UC family. | Eric Barnes ’08, a former resident assistant at UC, has returned to join the staff as a Resident Director. Coming from a position of resident director at SUNY Potsdam, Barnes is ready to bring his skills back to his alma mater. He graduated from UC with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. | ||
Ryan Dembrow joins UC in the Office of Student Financial Services where he serves as a student financial services coordinator. Dembrow earned his bachelor’s degree in history from SUNY Fredonia. | |||
Jarrett Kealey will be UC’s new coordinator of orientation. Kealey earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Marymount University and a master’s degree in higher education from Ohio University. His past experience has given him an opportunity to demonstrate his leadership skills here at UC. | Jason Lewin joins Utica College as the A/V instructional support specialist after working as a production manager for Trident Network Services in Vernon. Lewin has overseen A/V systems for several large, local events including the Boilermaker, Relay for Life, and the Heart, Run and Walk. He has a bachelor’s of science in TV/video product from Plattsburgh State University, and a minor in broadcast management. | ||
| Diane Pudney returns to UC as a senior secretary in the Office of Graduate and Extended Studies. Pudney graduated from MVCC with an associate degree in secretarial science. She has formerly worked in various administrative assistant positions, as a human resources consultant and then training manager for Bank of America. At UC, Pudney formerly worked in the Office of Career Services as student relations secretary. | Matt Talerico joins UC as an A/V specialist. Talerico is a graduate of Monroe Community College and is currently completing his bachelor’s degree in engineering at RIT. He previously worked for the Audio-Video Corporation. | ||
| Jennifer Willis joins UC as a graduate assistant coach of women’s lacrosse. Willis graduated from SUNY Cortland with a bachelor’s degree in secondary English-education in 2007 where she played lacrosse herself. She won the SUNYAC Player of the Week three times and was a member of the 2004 ECAC Division III Upstate New York Women’s Lacrosse All-Star team. Willis has been an instructor at several lacrosse camps, and is CPR certified. |
