The first year of college will be a year of growth and change - everything from to refining your study habits to discovering new interests and friends. You are going to experience new found personal freedoms. You can finally wear what you want to class, eat dessert only for every meal (although we wouldn't recommend this for your waistline...), and you will even get to argue with your teachers - in fact, debate is encouraged! You have a lot to look forward to at Utica College! College is an exciting time, and it can also be very overwhelming and stressful. Here in the Counseling Center, we understand that. Out staff is comprised of professionally trained clinicians, licensed by the State of New York, who can assist you with a wide variety of concerns. It is our belief that the college experience is all about learning and growing, both professionally and personally. Our work focuses on helping students gain the maximum benefit from their whole experience here at UC!
