Utica, NY (03/04/2015) - On Thursday, March 5, Film@UC will present the 2014 film “The Zero Theorem.”

Famed director Terry Gilliam creates a visual masterpiece in “The Zero Theorem.” Exploring the meaning of life, the film centers on the eccentric and reclusive programmer Qohen Leth who is tasked with using the zero theorem, a complex mathematical formula, to prove the value of human life. A story told through captivating imagery, it’s not until Qohen feels love that he realizes his own meaning in life.

This film is free and open to the public, and will be shown in the Macfarlane Auditorium in the college’s DePerno Hall at 7 p.m. For more information, call (315) 792-3047 or visit utica.edu/culture.
