Geotalk: Adventures in the Galapagos Islands
Professor Linda Zee Embarks on Tropical Journey

Utica, NY (11/13/2014) - As a part of the Fall 2014 Geotalk Series at Utica College, Linda Zee, professor of Spanish, will give her lecture, “Where the Wild Things Are: Adventures in the Galapagos Islands.”Zee and her husband embarked on a journey to the Galapagos Islands in July 2014. Now, they will recap their adventures in their lecture, including encounters with giant tortoises, sea lions and blue-footed boobies. They will also paint pictures of sea kayaking and snorkeling in the Itabaca Channel, a hike to the Volcán Chico and a tour of the Charles Darwin Research Station.
The lecture will take place on Friday, Nov. 14 at 2:30 p.m. in Willard Conference Room of DePerno Hall. Refreshments will be served at 2:15 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public.
