Utica, NY (10/21/2014) - Polish heritage has long since held a presence in Utica. Now, the flavors of Poland will be presented for the Utica College community to sample on Thursday, Oct. 23. This global culinary experience will feature unique Polish cuisine as prepared by renowned chef Michal Konwerski.

After receiving the title of technician of food technology from one of the best grastonomy (food and culture) schools in Poland, Konwerski opened two restaurants and served as Executive Chef for Sodexo at the National Stadium. Now, Chef Konwerski brings his expert cuisine to UC with the event, “Global Chef Shares the Flavors of Poland.”

This unique cultural dining experience will take place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Strebel Student Center Dining Commons. The cost is $8 per person for an all-you-can-eat assortment of dining choices.

The event is sponsored by the Office of the President.
