Utica, NY (10/09/2014) - Throughout the weekend of Oct. 17 through 19, students, parents, alumni, and other members of the Utica College community will participate in more than 25 events and activities, including live performances, reunions, sporting events and fireworks, in celebration of Utica College’s 2014 Homecoming Alumni and Family Weekend.

“Utica College is very proud of its 23,000 alumni, of which more than 8,000 currently reside or work in the Mohawk Valley,” said Mark Kovacs, director of alumni and parent relations at UC. “Homecoming Alumni and Family Weekend is an opportunity for students, alumni and their families and friends to come together to show their Pioneer pride.”

Students, alumni and family members should preregister for the weekend’s events by visiting utica.edu/homecoming. “This year, we've had a record number of preregistrations,” said Kovacs. “We are very excited for all of the events and activities we have planned for this year’s Homecoming Weekend.”

Attendees can check-in, register and pick up official event name tags at the information stations located in the Ralph F. Strebel Student Center on Friday, Oct. 17 from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
