Utica, NY (04/22/2014) - Utica College ‘s Professor Harry F. and Mary Ruth Jackson Lunch Hour Series welcomes writer Greg Ames Wednesday. The reading will take place at 12:30 p.m. in Macfarlane Auditorium, DePerno Hall, on the UC campus.Ames is the author of "Buffalo Lockjaw," a novel that won the 2009 Book of the Year Award from the New Atlantic Booksellers Association. Ames’ work has appeared in the Best American Nonrequired Reading, The Southern Review, McSweeney’s and The Sun Magazine. He is currently an assistant professor at Colgate University.
The Professor Harry F. and Mary Ruth Jackson Lunch Hour Series presents a series of musical and literary programs each semester. All programs are free and open to the public.
