Tree Dedication Ceremony Honors Memory of Students
UC Pays Tribute to Students who Passed Away this Academic Year

Utica, NY (03/31/2014) - On Wednesday, April 2, Utica College will host a tree dedication ceremony in memory of three Utica College students who recently passed away.The three students that passed away were Joseph Chubbuck, a senior earning his degree in physics; David Walter, a graduate student in cybersecurity, and Nick Turek, who was pursuing his degree at Utica College in computer science.
The dedication will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Pioneer Pub with remarks by Utica College President Todd S. Hutton and Dean of Students Alane Varga. The dedication ceremony will start at 5 p.m. near the entrance to South Hall residence hall, with a reception afterward in the Pioneer Pub, Strebel Student Center. Friends and family members are invited.
