UC to Host Non-Denominational Christmas Service

Utica, NY (12/04/2013) - On Sunday, Dec. 8, members of the Utica College community will host a non-denominational Christmas service from 3 to 5 p.m.Daniel Barr, assistant professor of biochemistry, will give the service’s Christmas message on the theme of “Seeing Christmas through Mary’s eyes.” Also during the service, the worship team from Trinity Lutheran Church will perform, and UC students will help with the service’s readings. Students from the UC University Church will host a fellowship time with cocoa and cookies following the service.
The service will be held in Strebel Auditorium and is free and open to the public. For more information about this event, contact Barr at dabarr@utica.edu.
