Arcuri to Speak on Partisan Politics
Former Congressman to Lead Discussion

Utica, NY (11/20/2013) - On Thursday, Nov. 21, Utica College adjunct lecturer of government and politics and former congressman, Michael Arcuri, will discuss "Partisan Politics in today's Congress" as part of UC's Political Science Honor Society Conversational Series.Arcuri served in Congress from 2007 to 2010, in which he represented the 24th
Congressional District, which includes Oneida County. Arcuri earned his bachelor's degree form the State University of New York and his J.D. from New York Law School. Currently, Arcuri works at the Syracuse law firm, Hancock Estabrook, LLP.
The speaker series event, hosted by UC's Political Science National Honor
Society and the James Sherman Society, will begin at 7 p.m. in the Willard
Conference Room in DePerno Hall. It is free and open to the public.
