One Actress: Three Roles, One Film

Actress is challenged with three roles in one film

Utica, NY (09/05/2013) - On Thursday, Sept. 5, Utica College will present Hong Sang-soo’s 2012 film “In Another Country,” a film consisting of three chapters, with three main characters, all played by British Academy Award Winner Isabelle Huppert.In each chapter of the film, Huppert portrays a different French woman who comes to a small resort town in South Korea. While each woman has her own reason for the trip, they all share encounters with a love struck lifeguard on the beach.
The film is free and open to the public, and will be shown in the Macfarlane Auditorium in the college’s DePerno Hall at 7 p.m. For more information call (315) 792-3047 or visit utica.edu/culture.
