UC, MVCC Bands to Present Joint Concert

Event Slated for Monday at MVCC

Utica, NY (05/10/2012) - The Utica College and Mohawk Valley Community College concert bands will come together for a night of music on Monday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the MVCC Auditorium.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The bands will both play their respective pieces, and then will combine to play some classic selections, including the John Williams Class – Star Wars: Phantom Menace. Each band is made up of 40 members including students from each college, Mohawk Valley music educators and members of the local community.

The MVCC band is conducted by Barb Seaton. Michael DiMeo directs the UC band.
