UC Students to Enjoy Special Discount Day at Sangertown Square
Genesis Group Initiative Provides Discounts to Area College Students

Area college students to enjoy discounts, prizes and more at Sangertown Square mall.

Utica, NY (02/01/2012) - Sangertown Square Mall will host “Sangertown Loves Students” on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.This event provides the opportunity for Utica College students, as well as students from 10 other area colleges, to receive discounts by simply displaying a valid student ID.
More than two dozen stores and restaurants are expected to participate in this event including Macy’s, Friendly’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sicilian Delight, Target and Sears.
Students will also have the chance to take home prizes via drawings and giveaways. A “Cash Cube” will be on hand; randomly selected students will get the opportunity to stand inside the cube and grab money.
Local radio stations Kiss FM, Bug Country and WUTQ will broadcast live from the event, which is sponsored by the Genesis Group of the Mohawk Valley.
