PT Holds Annual Trade Fair


Health Studies Students Learn from 15 Vendors

Utica, NY (11/14/2011) -
The Physical Therapy department at Utica College is hosting its annual trade fair on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. in rooms 102 and 103 of F. Eugene Romano Hall.

The event features more than 15 presentations on topics including Technology Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID), adaptive sports, specialized wheelchairs, prosthetics and orthodontics, and electrotherapy. Up to 150 students in the health studies will be able to learn through interactive demonstrations and practicing with a variety of equipment. Students from the Herkimer County Community College’s Physical Therapy Association have also been invited.
