A Night at the Opera
UC to Host Syracuse Opera Production

Utica, NY (09/22/2011) - If you are looking for a night rich in culture and fine music, Utica College has just what you desire.Utica College will host the Syracuse Opera production, “9 Operas in 90 Minutes,” on Friday, Sept. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Strebel Auditorium.
Three of opera’s fastest rising stars will present scenes from music’s greatest hits, including West Side Story, I Pagliacci, Candide and more.
These timeless stories, told in modern settings, break traditional opera stereotypes for everyone and offer hair-raising, heart-gripping and hilarious moments that will leave you both inspired and invigorated.
Each scene is fully staged with a dynamic set and colorful costumes.

This event, presented by Syracuse Opera and WRVO Public Media, is general admission and appropriate for all ages.
