PR Expert to Speak at Utica College

Former communications chief for Dun & Bradstreet to address changes in the field

Utica, NY (09/20/2011) - The Raymond Simon Institute for Public Relations and Journalism (RSI) at Utica College invites members of the community to a lecture by Bill Doescher, president and CEO of the Doescher Group, on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 4 p.m. in the Carbone Family Auditorium, located in the Economic Crime, Justice Studies and Cybersecurity Building.Doescher was formerly the senior vice president and chief communications officer for the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, where he served as senior communications officer. He has served on a number of non-profit and university boards, including Utica College.
Doescher has taught communications and investor relations at the undergraduate and graduate levels at a number of highly regarded colleges and universities across the country including the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
His company, the Doescher Group, is a consulting firm that specializes in public relations and marketing, reputation management and branding, as well as executive recruiting.
