College Begins Using PeopleAdmin Online Application Process

Online process will streamline applications

Utica, NY (07/25/2011) - On Aug. 1, Utica College is changing its employment application system. The employment application process will be made much faster and easier by being completely online through a portal called PeopleAdmin.Lesley Wallace, human resources coordinator, said using PeopleAdmin will allow an increase in the service level to applicants, managers and the campus community while improving human resources control and oversight.
PeopleAdmin was started in 2000 to “reduce the cost, risk and time spent for managing human resources for government, higher education and non-profit organizations,” according to its website. UC has contracted with this company to increase efficiency and make the application process more user-friendly.
"The Office of Human Resources is very excited to go live with the new online application portal,” Wallace said. “We hope that both job applicants and the campus community find PeopleAdmin easy to use. It is going to make the search process more efficient from start to finish."
