ACSS Conversations Present "F.A.T. City Workshop"
Allows Viewers to Experience Frustration of Learning Disabilities

Utica, NY (03/29/2011) - ACSS Conversations movie presentation will be introduced by Lois Fisch, professor and director of education, and Kateri Henkel, director of learning services, on Wednesday, March 30 in Macfarlane Auditorium.This 70-minute movie presentation is one that many have been asking to see: The F.A.T. City Workshop presented by Richard Lavoie.
According to Lavoie's website, “This unique program allows viewers to experience the frustration, anxiety and tension that children with learning disabilities face in their daily lives.” (www.ricklavoie.com/videos.html)
A facilitated discussion with audience participants will immediately follow.
The showing will begin at 3 p.m. in Macfarlane Auditorium, DePerno Hall. Light refreshments will be provided immediately before the showing.
