UC Band Concert Band Wraps Up Lunch Hour Series '09

Enjoy mix of traditional, holiday favorites

Utica, NY (12/01/2009) -     As the holidays come ever closer, the Utica College band is adding to the excitement with its annual holiday concert.
    The UC band, led by Michael DiMeo, will play a mix of classical music by composers such as Bach, patriotic tunes, and various holiday songs that everyone can enjoy. Comprised of both students and area musicians, the 50-member band plays concerts throughout the year, including annual spring and Veterans Day concerts.
    Sponsored by the Utica College Social Cultural Committee, the concert is scheduled for December 2 at 12:30 p.m. in the Library Concourse. Free and open to the public, the performance is part of the Professor Harry F. and Mary Ruth Jackson Lunch Hour Series held at Utica College, celebrating 30 years of the cultural arts and humanities on campus.
