Utica, NY (03/06/2009) - A hapless museum security guard promises his long-suffering wife the seaside vacation she has always dreamed of taking. He even moonlights as a phony chimney sweep who poses for tourists’ photos in order to earn the extra cash to make the trip possible. The romantic getaway promises to rekindle his wife’s loving interest in him and brighten his otherwise dreary life. But his penchant for games of chance seemingly dashes his hopes when he loses his savings in a shady shell game in the market. Desperate to recover his nest egg and his marriage, he enlists the help of his pub mates to out-shark the sharks who run the shell game, recover his savings and redeem himself in the eyes and heart of his wife. Along the way he and his pub mates discover that their relationships are stronger and more intense than their casual, weekly card games would indicate.
