UC Presents Career Expo 2008


Meet Major Employers, Health Care, Nonprofits

UC's Office of Career Services presents largest Career Expo in its history

Utica, NY (03/31/2008) -

Utica College’s office of Career Services will present Career Expo 2008 this Wednesday and Thursday (April 2-3) from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Library Concourse. 


Nearly 80 employers from local, regional and national companies will participate in the annual event. 


On Wednesday, the career fair will feature major employers including Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS), Galaxy Communications, Metlife and Walgreens. 


On Thursday, the fair will focus on nonprofit and health care organizations, including Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, Function Better Physical Therapy, House of the Good Shepherd and Upstate Cerebral Palsy. 


Participating organizations will discuss various fulltime and part-time employment opportunities, as well as co-op and internship positions. 


The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resume to the fair.
