Financial Educator to Speak at Utica College
Robert Sack, Former Chief Accountant at SEC, to Discuss Ethics

Robert J. Sack, professor emeritus at the Darden School, University of Virginia, will speak on "Case Studies in Business Ethics" Tuesday (Dec. 5) at Utica College. His presentation, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 7 p.m. in the Willard Conference Room, DePerno Hall.

Utica, NY (12/01/2006) - Robert J. Sack, professor emeritus at the Darden School, University of Virginia, will speak on "Case Studies in Business Ethics" Tuesday (Dec. 5) at Utica College. His presentation, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 7 p.m. in the Willard Conference Room, DePerno Hall.Sack, who joined Darden in 1987, taught financial reporting, management accounting and business ethics. Once selected by students as the outstanding faculty member, Sack co-authored a textbook on financial reporting and has written for a variety of professional publications including the Journal of Accountancy, Issues in Accounting Education, and Accounting Horizons.
Prior to joining Darden, Sack served as chief accountant for the division of enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington. With the Commission, he was responsible for the work of the division’s accountants, as well as advising division attorneys on accounting and auditing matters. Sack was also, at one time, a partner with Touche Ross & Co.
