Tip 3c: Using the Icon Links

You can view the tutorial in two other ways. The Adobe Acrobat Format allows you print out the tutorial with page breaks in appropriate places. The Movie Format allows you view actual screen shots and mouse movements in much more dynamic fashion. Below are the links to the tutorial information in other formats:

Tip 3c: Using the Icon Links

On any page within your WebCT course, there are Icon Links. Each icon represents a different part of your course. There are icons for Email, Discussions, Content, Quizzes, etc. Each course will have a different number of icons. The icon pictures may also be different but the tools work the same in every course. For example, if you see an a Course Content Icon (see Fig. L1-1). Once you click on the icon you will be taken to a content module. To navigate back to the previous page, never use your back or forward button within your browser. You should use the Breadcrumb Links (see Fig. L1-2) at the top of the webpage underneath the course name.
