Tip 2: Getting into your course

After you have logged onto WebCT, where are my courses? Tip 2 shows you how to get into your WebCT course.

You can view the tutorial in two other ways. The Adobe Acrobat Format allows you print out the tutorial with page breaks in appropriate places. The Movie Format allows you view actual screen shots and mouse movements in much more dynamic fashion. Below are the links to the tutorial information in other formats:

Tip 2: Getting into your course

After you have logged onto WebCT, you will be in area called myWebCT. This is where you will see a heading called "Courses." You should see the title of the course that you registered. You will also see the instructors name underneath the name of the course. Click on the name of the course to enter the it. NOTE - If you have registered for more than one eCampus course, you will see them under the Courses heading. (See Fig. N1-1)

Tip 2a: What are those icons under the course name?

The icons under the course name are another way to get into your course. If there are new Email, quizzes, assignments, discussion items, calendar items, or grades, then you may be able to click on these links to take you directly to those items. For example, if you notice a icons of an envelope, this means there is new Email. If you click on that icon, you would taken directly to the Email tool within WebCT and you can read those messages. NOTE - Each instructor has the choice to show the icons as a link, without an link, or not show them at all. (See Fig. N1-2)
