How do I Reply to WebCT Mail Messages?

Replying to a mail message is not a difficult task in WebCT. You can reply to messages sent from other users in the course.

You can view the tutorial in two other ways. The Adobe Acrobat Format allows you print out the tutorial with page breaks in appropriate places. The Movie Format allows you view actual screen shots and mouse movements in much more dynamic fashion. Below are the links to the tutorial information in other formats:

How to Reply to Mail Messages



1. On the screen in which you are reading your new Email, click on the "Reply Button" above the message information. (View the How to Read Mail Messages Tutorial) NOTE - If you click on the "Quote Button," the original message will be sent with your reply. (See Fig. R1-1)

2. On the next screen, type in your reply inside the Message text box and click on the "Send button" near the bottom. If you need to attach a file to the message, please view the Attaching a File to a Message Tutorial. NOTE - If you wish to preview your message before you send it, click on the "Preview button." If you wish to include a web address within your message, simply type in the entire address including the http:// and it will show up as an active link. (See Fig. R1-2)
