When you signed up for an e-Learning program at Utica College, you should have received a letter explaining how to get started using your uticaonline account. In case you you never got the letter, somehow have parted company with it, or if you are just taking an online course for the first time, here is some of the information you will need, in particular:
Activating or Resetting Your Account
The uticaonline Server
You can access your course at http://online.utica.edu, Login by choosing “Login to WebCT Courses” from the left side menu. The uticaonline page also contains other useful information about eLearning at Utica College. Your course uses software called WebCT, which means Web Course Tools. It is the home site for your online course and its tools allow you to access course information, communicate with your instructor and other students, and complete and submit assignments.

UC Email
You also have a Utica College email account. Your email address is your email/uticaonline User ID@utica.edu. Your email password is the same as your WebCT password. You must check your Utica College email regularly as all official Utica College emails are sent only to these accounts. You can check your UC email from any web browser via webmail at:
http://mail.utica.edu.

Skill Level
Completing a distance learning course requires the student to be familiar with e-mail, web browser and word processing software. While students need not be "computer experts," basic computer skills are important.
How to Register for a Course
If you are on the Utica College campus or in the Utica area, you may register in person at the Continuing Education Office, 124 White Hall, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., or Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may also register by fax (315-792-3002). If you are registering from a distance, please complete a registration form and mail it (Continuing Education, Utica College, 1600 Burrstone Road, Utica, NY, 13502), fax it (315-792-3002) or e-mail it as an attachment to the
Continuing Education Office.
