Sports Communication at Utica CollegeOne of the largest industries in the United States, professional and amateur sports generate more revenue than the U.S. automotive and movie industries combined. You can prepare to be part of the lucrative sports field through Utica College’s Sports Communication Concentration.

Sports Communication: The UC Advantage

The Sport Communication Concentration is an intense 15-credit concentration within the Public Relations major designed to help you gain the skills necessary to succeed in the sports industry. Working closely with our exceptional PRJ faculty, you’ll learn about sports promotion, public relations, marketing and advertising. You’ll also study the complex relationship between sports and the media, learn how the business of sports works, and how sports reporters craft their stories.

Career Outcomes
When you graduate, you’ll be prepared to pursue various careers in the sports industry.
