Biography
Professor Fenner is Chair of Economics and Finance at Utica College. He joined the UC faculty in 1989 after earning his M.B.A. from Cornell University and his Ph.D. in economics from Syracuse University. Professor Fenner's research interests are in the areas of education finance and teaching of economics, and his most recent work includes a study for the U.S. Department of Education on the impact of state aid on local school districts and an article titled "Addressing Prerequisite Mathematics Needs: A Case Study in Introductory Economics," which was published in the International Journal of Mathematical Education in Science and Technology. Professor Fenner is the director of Utica College's Mohawk Valley Center for Economic Education.
