Marie-Noëlle D. Little


Biography


Marie-Noëlle Little has lived in Sweden, France and Lebanon, before coming to this country in 1969. Most of her research has been on Francophone literature and interdisciplinary studies. 

She has published works in French and English on former United Nations Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld and French poet and diplomat Saint-John Perse, and on Hammarskjöld and American poet Ezra Pound. She is now working on a Swedish edition of the correspondence of  Dag Hammarskjöld and Swedish painter and author Bo Beskow. Professor Little is also interested in N.Y. State rural history and achitecture, and is working on a photographic survey of local farms and barns.
