Frank Bergmann (Dr. phil., Eberhard-Karls-Universitaet Tuebingen) first came to this country as a Fulbright scholar from Germany. He joined the college in 1969 and is currently professor of English and German. He has received the college's distinguished teaching award and the college's distinguished research award.

Susan Draves has 18 years of experience teaching Spanish and also has taught French for several years. She was the Department Chairperson at Rome Catholic High School and throughout her foreign language career has developed curriculum, taken students on numerous field trips and assisted many students with learning disabilities.

Linda Zee has lived and traveled in Latin America [Mexico, Costa Rica,
Cuba, Puerto Rco, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina] and Spain. Her
principal areas of research are contemporary Latin American women
writers and Latin American film. She has created a data base of films
in Spanish that are literary adaptations, and is beginning to research
the Spanish-language film industry in Hollywood. She is active in the
arts community in Utica, and also participates in cross-country skiing
and distance running.
