Health and beauty bazaar gives attendees the opportunity to learn beauty techniques and enhance their everyday health and appearance
Utica, NY (04/23/2013)- Beauty is more than skin deep, but sometimes it's just about feeling good! The K. Della Ferguson Womyn's Resource Center at Utica College will host a health and beauty bazaar on Thursday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Ellen Knower Clarke Lounge, Strebel Student Center.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with beauty consultants and health professionals to learn various techniques to enhance their everyday health and appearance.
Massages, facials and manicures will be available at the bazaar as well as May Kay consultants. Jewelry making demonstrations will also be showcased at the bazaar. Planned Parenthood will be present at the event and yoga will be available for practice in the afternoon. Products from Shea Yeleen International, a grassroots organization working toward pioneering change for women producers of shea butter and their communities, will have various products available for purchase as well.
