Studying Communication Arts: The UC Advantage
Drawing upon the arts, humanities, and social sciences, UC's liberal arts approach to communication emphasizes personal exploration and growth along with career preparation.
Students gain professional experience outside the classroom through internship and cooperative education placements in government, media, entertainment, business, human services, and other professional settings.
Curriculum
The program incorporates two related components - 1) the refinement of communication and performance competencies, and 2) the development of an understanding of a range of important communication issues and the ways communication variables influence our identities, relationships, organizations, and society.
