APPLICATION PROCESS
Criteria for Admission
Applicants are evaluated based on the following.
- An undergraduate degree
- Minimum of two years of experience in the field
- Commitment and ability to complete a rigorous program
Application Requirements
Program applicants must submit the following.
- Completed application, including personal statement and official transcripts
- Letter of support from employer, committing to student’s attendance at the residencies
- Application fee of $50.00
Tuition and Expenses
Students are responsible for the following.
- $2,400.00 per course, 12 courses (2005-06)
- $60.00 distance learning fee
- Residency expenses: travel, accommodations, meals, and books
Many students are sponsored by their employers, but self-sponsored candidates are encouraged to attend, as well. A discounted rate may be available for law enforcement personnel.
Technology Requirements
In order to complete the program, students must have access to the following.
- Personal computer (A laptop computer is strongly recommended.)
- Internet
- Microsoft Word and Excel required
