Utica College officials will cut the ribbon April 3 on the newest academic building, housing economic crime and justice studies.

Home to the college's Economic Crime Institute (ECI) and the Center for Identity Management and Information Protection (CIMIP), the state-of-the-art structure has specialized laboratories and research facilities for those programs, and for students learning cybersecurity, fraud prevention, criminal investigation, and more.

The 22,000-square foot structure, the second phase of the college's Science and Technology complex, was completed in December.

In addition to criminal justice and economic crime investigation undergraduate majors, UC offers a major in cybersecurity and information assurance, as well as an online master's degree in economic crime management. Most recently, the college added an online master's degree in criminal justice administration.
