  • Total Courses Utilizing an Online Component: 804 (54% of all courses offered use an online component)
    • Orbis/Canvas (for Online ASDN program): 141 courses (17.5% of online component courses)
    • Wiley/Engage (for Online RN to BS, BS CYB, BS ECI, MS CYB, MPS CYB, MS FCM, MBA, or MS HCA programs): 268 courses (33.3% of online component courses)
    • Center for Innovative Learning/Engage (for other Online or Campus courses): 395 courses (49.1% of online component courses)

  • Total Courses Using LMS: 915 (this includes 813 ANGEL courses, 83 Orbis/ANGEL courses, and 19 UC Moodle courses)
  • Fully Online Courses: 331 (this includes 106 Distance, 142 Graduate Distance, and 83 ASDN courses)
  • Companion Shells / Hybrid Courses: 584 (this includes all non-distance ANGEL courses)

Entire 2013-14 Academic Year

  •   UC offered 2982 courses.
  •   2175 courses used an LMS (73% of all courses).
    •   869 were fully online courses (29%).
    •   1306 were companion shells or hybrid courses (44%).


Summer 2013
  • Total Courses: 341
  • Total Courses Using LMS: 268 (this includes 241 ANGEL courses and 27 Orbis/ANGEL courses)
  • Fully Online Courses: 228 (this includes 92 Distance, 109 Graduate Distance, and 27 ASDN courses)
  • Companion Shells / Hybrid Courses: 40 (this includes all non-distance ANGEL courses)


Fall 2013
  • Total Courses: 1367
  • Total Courses Using LMS: 992 (this includes 937 ANGEL courses and 55 Orbis/ANGEL courses)
  • Fully Online Courses: 310 (this includes 112 Distance, 143 Graduate Distance, and 55 ASDN courses)
