Thunderbird downloader


Step 1. Download Thunderbird Installer

Available at http://getthunderbird.com



Step 2. Run Thunderbird Installation

Step 3. Install Thunderbird and Launch after installation is complete. First click next.

Step 5. Click Next






Allow installation to occur		  Thunderbird Installing

Step 6. Click Finish
 





Step 7. Thunderbird will appear after you click finish, and then it will prompt this box to you, enter your information here.

Step 8. After you input your information, you will be prompted with this, Click "Manual Setup..."
 





 Step 9. Change incoming mail information
Changer your information to match this:
Server name: imap.utica.edu port:993
Username: Your user-name you use to login with.(Not your email @utica.edu)
Connection security: SSL/TLS

Step 10. Change outgoing mail information


Click outgoing server at the bottom of the list(at the same screen you were at in Step 6)
Click edit on the right hand side of your account name
Change information to:
Server name:smtp.utica.edu port: 465
Connection Security:SSL/TLS
User name: Your user-name you login with.
 









Step 11. Click ok, your email will begin to load. This may take a long time if you have many folders and many messages.
