Enabling IMAP for UC Google Email

This Helpsheet is intended to aid you in being able to enable remote access (IMAP Access) to your Google E-Mail Account. Please log into your account before following through with the steps below at the UC

• Mozilla Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook
• Remote email applications for mobile devices such as iPad (and other iOS devices) and Android Devices

	Click printer icon at the bottom of the page for printable version. Step 1: Click on the Cogwheel (Settings) in the top right hand corner of your Google Account and Select Settings
Step 2: Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP
Step 3: Disable POP, and Enable IMAP, go to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.  Please allow at minimum 5 minutes for your IMAP access to be available.
