Setting up UC Email on an Android device

Step 1. On the main menu, click the Apps button[The middle button with the dots] to open up all your Apps. | ||
Step 2. Scroll through your Apps until you find Mail or Email depending on your Droid. |  | ||
 | Step 3. When asked for Email Provider, Choose Other. | ||
Step 4. Choose Manual Setup when asked for Email Address/Password. |  | ||
 | Step 5. Choose Imap for incoming server settings, also include your Email Address, Username[Please note this can be different as compared to your email address and do not include @utica.edu], imap.utica.edu, SSL connection, Port 993. | ||
Step 6. For Outgoing server settings, Choose that Login is required, also include your username, password, Smtp.utica.edu, SSL connection, port 465. |  | ||
 | Step 7. Finally, it will ask you for your account name[Which is what you choose it to be, for example it could be Utica College Email, My email, etc,] and for your name change it to what you want to be seen as when you send an email. [For example, John Doe, Professor Doe, etc.] |
