Setting up UC Email on a Blackberry

Step 1. Click the Blackberry Button on your device. | ||
Step 2. Go to the setup screen. |  | ||
 | Step 3. Click Email Settings | ||
Step 4. If you have other emails previously set up, click add. |  | ||
 | Step 5. When asked for Mail Provider click "Other". | ||
Step 6. When the next menu pops up, Choose POP/IMAP as the Email type, after that, add your email address and password(______@utica.edu), then scroll down for the server settings. |  | ||
 | Step 7. For the Email server, use imap.utica.edu[If asked for a port under SSL connection type 993], type your username in as if you were logging into your email or a PC on Campus(Note your username may not be the same as your email). Click next, and if asked for outgoing settings type smtp.utica.edu [If asked for a port, use SSL 465]. Some of this may be automated depending on the type of Blackberry. Your device may differ, but the Email settings will stay the same. |
