Turning The Equipment ON

Step 1:


Locate power button on lower right of SMART board, this button should be orange, push it once to make it blink green.

Step 2:


Locate PC or laptop and press the power button that is on the front or top of the computer

Step 3:


Once the Ctrl-Alt-Delete screen is displayed on the SMART board, use the wireless keyboard and mouse to log in.  These should be on the podium in the room.

Step 4:


To control the volume spin the volume knob near the power button on the SMART board.

Turning The Equipment OFF

Step 1:


Shut down the PC normally by clicking on the Start menu and shutdown

Step 2:


Locate power button on lower right of SMART board, this button should be green, push it TWO TIMES to make it blink orange.

Troubleshooting

The SMART board is only displaying a blue screen with SMART on it:

1:   Make sure the PC is turned on
2:   Use the input button next to the SMART board power button to select "VGA 1"
3:   Call 315-792-3115 and select option 3 and request assistance

The speakers are not working:

1:   Make sure the volume on the PC is turned up
2:   Make sure the power switch is turned on below the right speaker, the right side of the switch should be pressed
3:   Call 315-792-3115 and select option 3 and request assistance

The keyboard and mouse are not working:

1:   Make sure the power switch on the top right of the keyboard is turned on
2:   Make sure the power switch on the bottom of the mouse is turned on
3:   Call 315-792-3115 and select option 3 and request assistance
