It is said that the best things in life are free, and IITS believes the same is true with software. The following are some free software programs that you may find useful for your personal computer.

|Mozilla Firefox - This is a great web browser that many argue is more secure than Microsoft Internet Explorer. Its available for PC, MAC, and Linux.|
|LibreOffice - LibreOffice, available for Mac, PC, and Linux is a free alternative to purchasing Microsoft Office. We highly recommend this for anyone who needs the capability of opening and editing Microsoft documents, but don't want to pay even the educational price.|
|Adobe Reader - Used to open PDF files, this software will be needed by just about everyone at least once. Look for the "Get Adobe Reader" buttton on the Adobe page. While there, its a good idea to install Adobe Flash and Adobe Air. Both allow your computer to play common multimedia on the web.|
|SpyBot Search & Destroy - Accept no imitations; not all spyware programs are created alike. In fact many anti-spyware programs are spyware!|
|MalwareBytes - Got spyware? SpyBot can't get rid of it? Try MalwareByes to get your computer cleaned up.|
