Computing at Utica College
Integrated Information Technology Services
IITS' core mission is to:
- Provide appropriate and up-to-date information technology, pedagogical consultation, technical assistance, and training for faculty to integrate information and instructional technologies into their teaching and research activities;
- Furnish accessible, user-friendly computing facilities for administrators, faculty and students to empower their administrative, teaching, and learning experiences at Utica College, and;
- Maintain state-of-the-art Internet tools to support the College's advancement and online curricula expansion.
IITS is organized as follows:
Vijay Sonty is the Vice President of Technology / Chief Information Officer.
The Director of IT Operations, Multimedia and Computer User Services is Kathy Randall. AV Services, staffed by Dominic Aiello, and Computer User Services, staffed by Mike Clapsadl and Derek MacTurk, report to Kathy.
The position of Information Security Officer and Instructional Technologist is held by James Farr.
Scott Humphrey is the Director of College Information and Application Services. The staff include Bill Dundon, Steve Cromer, Diane Morisey, Stacy Ludwikowski, and Doug Tichensky.
The Infrastructure department is led by John Kaftan and staffed by Scott Getz, Jeremy Gibbs, Jim Wilson, and Dave Parker.
