Undergraduate Certificate in Aging Studies 30 credit program ♦ multidisciplinary curriculum
The purpose of this program is to foster awareness of the needs of the elderly and to develop skills to meet those needs. Within the aging network there are many levels of service delivery. All require appropriate levels of training. The knowledge and skills gained through this certificate program are well suited for persons seeking entry level employment in the aging network, while those already employed in the network will increase their knowledge of the aging process and further develop their skills. (Students who already are matriculated in a degree program are ineligible for the certificate.)
The Certificate of Aging Studies is offered in combination with traditional classroom and online distance learning.
